Sourcing inspiration

Looking at my Latin roots, I realised that I had grown up with examples of Colombia's unique magical realism, where craftsmanship came to life and had superpowers typical of today's technology. That, plus my love of science fiction, made me think that looking for a traditional woman reimagined in a technological context was the answer to the brief: to represent artisanal intelligence.
